Course Description
Develop the knowledge and practical skills required to prevent workplace fires and respond safely to fire emergencies in accordance with OSHA fire protection and prevention requirements. This PECC CPD-Certified course covers the fundamentals of fire science, classes of fire, common workplace fire hazards, fire prevention strategies, fire risk assessment, portable fire extinguisher selection and use (PASS technique), inspection and maintenance, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency action and evacuation plans, employee responsibilities, and applicable OSHA fire protection standards. Ideal for employees, supervisors, HSE professionals, facility managers, and emergency response teams across all industries. Participants will gain the skills to minimize fire risks, comply with OSHA requirements, protect people and property, and respond effectively during workplace fire emergencies.
